Absolutely. For some reason it's always either the coach or the players who are at fault. It can never just be a bit of both.

It’s fear. I told people that by 8/25th there would be 1200 new posters on CIS - 999 would be trolls. Well I was wrong, well over 1000.
They see a young, high-energy, defensive-minded coach at Miami and have visions of JJ running up the score on their real team.

Sports and politics are a lot alike. It’s governed by emotion and confirmation bias. It’s about wanting to be right not about what actually is. I’ll reserve judgment til we have played a few more games.

Yes! And legitimate judgement can commence after the Virginia game. No matter what the outcome happens to be. Simply because Miami will have played two legitimate Power 5 teams. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a tiny statistical sample. So what.

I think that's a fair to make some assessments. Are we still making some of the same mistakes. Have we improved? Have we cleaned up certain things?
 
Why do you either have to be a “slurper” or a total jackass? How about just be a level headed fan who can be critical when applicable, and give credit when it’s due?

Because there are posters on here who think they know better than everyone else and are eager to say I told you so....they'd rather have the team or player they dont like fail just to prove their point

They live a sad Iittle life where they get pushed around by everyone including their wives and on an internet site no one knows who they are and they can act and think they're big and bad....
