Diaz on Martell decision, WR battle

Agreed, if they hold up their end of the bargain and catch what’s thrown their way, gone will be the days of 176yds passing for an entire game - shoot, that will be the stats at halftime.

Everyone complains about depth, but imagine next year's recruiting class with all those available spots. Especially if we can show we're on the way up.

That WR room is ridiculous. Whoever is QB better spread the ball around like a prostitute on a pirate ship. Martell will be that guy, IMHO. Enos has to be giddy with his backfield. Top 10 position groups at WR, TE and RB.
The wr room was supposed to be ridiculous when it was richards and cager. Heck, ryan moore and akeem jolla were supposed to be ridiculous.

We have a good mix of high ceiling amd high floor kids, and different types (thomas, pope, hightower, e.g.). But none of the have actually done much at UM. Osborn is the only one who has genui;ely done a lot in cfb. Potential is always more enticing than reality.

Enos, alone, makes our offense deadly. With your list of killers receiving passes from our assassin's, we are going to murder every secondary that we face!
Perhaps Miami needs a proven on-field QB as well.

Agreed. Osborn provides good experience and apparently isn't a total diva. Thomas is a special player.

Aside from them there's nothing but unfulfilled potential and a ton of drops.

Suddenly, the talent will be there. Last year, it was 'Miami doesn't have talent!!', lol
We've already seen this exact episode before. No one thought our defense was worth a **** under D'Nofrio and Manny came in and instantly turned it into a top 30 defense. We'll see the same massive turnaround under Enos

Exactly.

We also saw it in 2011 with Jacory being more efficient & dropping His INTs, Streeter showing what He could do when He finally got playing time, & Allen Hurns having a good sophomore year...with the help of competent coaching of course.

LOL...not very many people thought Cager made the WR room ridiculous...Thomas more than likely, but definitely not Cager.

And I'm not gonna write off the true freshmen WRs that had to step up in a $h!tshow of an offense where nobody was on the same page.

Stop letting Richards' true freshman season gas you up.
