We have a good mix of high ceiling amd high floor kids, and different types (thomas, pope, hightower, e.g.). But none of the have actually done much at UM. Osborn is the only one who has genui;ely done a lot in cfb. Potential is always more enticing than reality.

Perhaps, for sure. However, everything is unproven until proven. Recruits are unproven on the college level when we are in the process of recruiting them, but that does not stop us from being excited.

Furthermore, it does not stop the coaches from recruiting them.

Agreed. Osborn provides good experience and apparently isn't a total diva. Thomas is a special player.

Aside from them there's nothing but unfulfilled potential and a ton of drops.

We also saw it in 2011 with Jacory being more efficient & dropping His INTs, Streeter showing what He could do when He finally got playing time, & Allen Hurns having a good sophomore year...with the help of competent coaching of course.
