Diaz now a candidate for TEMPLE

Yeah but then how does he leverage this into a raise (a well-deserved raise at that)?
It looks like the only ones getting raises are the used car salesmen! After you get suckered and take the bait giving them 2 fat pockets of cash, they tank the team! Like Fat Al, Richt is out to lunch the rest of his contract!!

Diaz and the job he did on the D side of the ball is the only thing propping Mork up right now. It's ball game for Richt if Manny bails.
So true.. without the D, we'd be 3-9 this year, 6-6 last year (and that's being generous).

The people that want MR fired (me being one of them) this doesnt matter to me cause when Marks fired Diaz has to go anyway. There not going to keep anyone from Mark staff coaching transitions rarely work that way
We promoted Shannon from a failed regime. This uni hasnt fired jon richt. Expect the unexpected

Homer glasses aside, Elko is a home run in terms of fit at Temple. Grew up just outside of Philly, played at Penn and has recruited that area for years. Nothing against Manny, but that's a hard resume to stack up against.

Miami is home for him and who knows he may be the head coach in waiting here. Especially if Richt gets canned. I really don’t see Richt coaching much longer (health).

How many years has he been a college coach away from Miami?

You are correct. Also, their DL coach was here for 3 years, and played at Penn State.

You call that a good resume???? Come on, bro. So he grew up nearby and played at a local D3 school? Big deal! Manny is putting players in the league and has experience recruiting in the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country. His defense was one of the best in the nation despite the fact that his players played way more snaps than they should have as a result of Richt's impotent offense.
