Diaz is not immune to criticism

Defense gets a sack, then gives up a 3rd and 80. Defense gets a tackle for loss the gives up a 3rd and 40.

Defense is as just as bad as the offense. Live off of big plays but can never put anything together 3 straight plays in a row most times.

If those big plays don't happen, both units look like pee wee squads.

They isolated Redwine a lot and took advantage of him in key spots. Stuff hurricane vision has shown us all year

Don't mention that once again the D was on the field for 80 plays and the offense couldn't sustain a drive or convert a 3rd down all year. Manny is not perfect but he's hardly a problem.

That sh*t was pathetic out there period, far worse than the offense tonight

brock, i want to see you savage Diaz and crew like Cane Dynasty mauled Jobe. Get em!

It will be especially funny, like when he finally came around on golden.

I don't think it has been 7 days since he was spouting his sack and tfl numbers as if they are significant when you can't stop a team on third down, can't stop a team in the red zone, and are almost 40th in total defense.

Kid has no clue and this is the cover his *** post he will screen shot and use as evidence down the line when he gets called out on it.

We just made Wisky's quarterback look like Tom Brady. Yeah the offense sucked, obviously, but defense was up and down. And they got shredded in the passing game. Straight up.

The Wisky QB? How about the Toledo QB? the Syracuse QB? The UVA QB? The Pitt QB? The Clemson QB?

We make just about every opposing QB look like Tom Brady. Something is fundamentally wrong with this defense.....

We've had issues getting off the field all year. So that's certainly not new. Simply stated Manny is going to have to get better or find a new landing spot. We couldn't stop bad teams on third down this season - Duke, FSU, UNC, UVA, and Pitt. I have less patience for Diaz because we have very good talent and experience on our defense.

I want to see better play calling from Richt also, but I'm not sure what you do when you have to try to come up with a game plan against the #1 defense in the country (Total Defense) with Rosier as his QB and his best skill possession players off the board.

- UVA's Kurt Benkert started 19-for-19 against us on the road.
- Pitt's backup freshman QB, in his first career start, led them to an upset victory over us.
- Clemson's Kelly Bryant started 15-for-15 against us and opened the ACC title game spearheading 3 TD drives.
- Wisconsin's Hornibrook tore this secondary apart despite being their weak link all year.

This was all immediately following the defense's domination of Notre Dame. Diaz' defense fell off a cliff in alarming fashion.

This. People can act like nothing is wrong all they want.. but we went from 20th on defense to 40th. I would say that is something to be concerned about. Wasn't making (below) average QBs look like Tom Brady the reason No'D is considered the worse DC we've had here? Same thing is starting to happen with Diaz. Not to mention, Diaz has to be the WORST 3rd down D-Coordinator in football.

If Rumph belly flops on the AH kids he needs to get tossed.

Diaz issues are the same that has followed him everywhere. Make some plays but give up hella yards. At least it’s Doritos defense

Diaz is not the answer. The curse of Manny has struck again!

If Diaz wasn’t Cuban the fan base would want him gone

He’s been a mediocre DC, all year, at best

Ever QB looks like Brady against a Diaz defense, even true freshman

Exactly, it was really bad. It’s not like our D held their own in these games but just fell apart when the offense sputtered. They got ripped almost immediately.

And they had a tendency to given wayyy too many yards anyway.

Starting to question him as a DC. His unit ended the year getting worked by four teams, three of which had mediocre offenses.

Wisconsin has the number one rated defense in the country so an offensive struggle was expected. With all their errors, 24 points should have been good enough to beat a one dimensional team with a mediocre QB and true freshmen WR's. Instead the latter two had career nights...

You got that right. He is not the DC to get us to become the dominating Defense that Miami is known for. He out schemes himself. If something is working, stick with it. It's almost as if he is trying too hard to convince his peers that he is the smartest DC with his knowledge instead of just calling the plays that work for his personnel

Yeap. Miami D at its best was simple aggressive downfield attacking. Manny knows that, uses it and then for some reason tries to get cute. All these qbs look all world because he plays more coverage and less pressure. It is like Golden takes over his body and punishes us for hating his suck *** defense.

Couldn’t guard Wisconsins WR’s in man. Had nothing to do with Diaz. His hands were tied by our **** DB’s & make no mistake. They suck.

Not to mention the Toledo QB.

The question is would anyone be upset NOW if another school “steals” him? I’m not saying fire him, but dont mortage the farm to keep him.
