If you can't tell Diaz is planning ahead. Hes thinking what will make the team elite in two years not what will make the team good this year.

What gets players good is working and EXPERIENCE!

Hes playing Scaife at guard when he could play tackle WAY better than campbell or Zion. Why? Because to get good you need to get hammered and learn from it. In two years He wants a RS junior and Junior tackle who have been through it all. Our interior O line has two sophmores who will be here in two years.

Those guys should be pretty **** good in two years if he keeps em in the fire

He thrusts Jarren as a freshman in there knowing he will have growing pains. Why? Because hes the best QB. But also in two years when hes experienced he can be an elite college QB with a very good O line.

He knows no matter what he does we can't win big this year. He is willing to use this year and maybe even next as developmental years. He would rather throw young players with potential in the fire at the biggest stage instead of temporary fixes who would perform better.

At the end of the day he will say all he wants but he doesnt give a fuq about this year. Coaches get credit for what they do two or three years after they get hired not the previous coaches team.

IDK where you came up with that theory. In his post game presser he said it is never ok for UM to lose to UF (obviously). I don't think he would play two freshman tackles for experience if it meant getting wrecked on offense. Diaz wants to win now, make no mistake. And he should want to win now.

I do not agree but the concept is true. Joe paterno in our Fiesta Bowl disaster had a ton of 5th year seniors and he seemed to cycle having good teams every 3 or 4 years but suffer in between.

Last night was the Perfect example of why I could give 2 Fs about Richts 1 million Donation, when the ineptitude of him and his Son's coaching/ recruiting abilities completely crippled us in regards too QB and OL play....
How in the F didn't Jarren see more action last yr??....How in the F can our OL be this terrible??....

Diaz isn’t a good HC. Sorry you can’t see it and that you have to say the same garbage we say every time we get a new, inexperienced HC, in order to feel better

I wasn’t sure what year it was last night tbh

Agreed.

However IF Miami cant get the absolute best OL recruits, all for naught.

All of it.

Easy, because Jarren isn't as good as our fans want to believe he is. Congrats, he can hit high percentage passes, but can't manage his huddle. He had no sense of urgency last night, even with the clock ticking down. He ate sacks that he didn't have to, merely because he doesn't understand the concept of throwing the football away. You know that the OL is awful, don't expose yourself to additional hits by freezing in the pocket.

His one strength is his accuracy over the middle, but we should expect a QB to hit square ins and basic crap like that. What we should worry about is how he can't identify a college level passing window. Jarren waits until a guy is completely wide open, failing to understand that in a lot of cases, you will have to throw with some anticipation, in order to give a player a little bit of an edge.
