Devwah Whaley from Texas(#3 RB)

i don't see why this has to be an either/or situation. look at richt's recruiting history. he has no problem getting multiple blue chip running backs on the roster.

If theirs any HC who I trust with rbs its Right so I trust him but I can see Hamilton going to UCF with Killings and having monster numbers

I would rather have Hamilton.

This guy has some size and speed, but he is running in straight lines through gaping holes.
Hamilton has much better feet and vision from what I can see against far better competition.

Don't completely agree, but even so, that's enough for college. A big, straight-line back is about to win the Heisman. He'll bust in the pros, but that isn't my concern.

We already have backs like Hamilton. I think Whaley's size and power are a good complement. He'll comfortably get up in the 225-lb range. Nobody is gonna wanna tackle that guy in the 4th quarter.

Bring him.

I don't follow recruiting as much as some, but let's be honest, are we dogging this kid because he's not from Florida?

agree. he's already big for a HS back (with good speed) and there's no reason to think he can't grow into a big back at the D1 level. I think people forget that outside of Gus, Trayone is a big back. Personally i think he could be our most dynamic back (by reading the board I know im not alone) if given the chance. nobody on the roster has his size/speed combination. hope richt sees that and gives him some burn.

Going to be 100 with you guys. This kid is from Beaumont, TX. This isn't a typical Texas kid.

This is EAST Texas. The kids from this area (Golden Triangle) are HIGHLY sought after, hungry and talented. This is almost as close as you can get to Louisiana for those that don't know the layout of Texas. This is the same area that produced Jimmy Johnson (who's from Port Arthur) and Univ of Texas and Seahawks All Pro Earl Thomas. (Who is from Orange)

This same area had 2 starting safeties go to Bama and UT this past recruiting cycle. (Deionte Thompson who went to Bama, and PJ Locke who is playing VERY well at Univ of Texas)

Central is a **** good football school.

Agreed, you hit Beaumont on I-10 shortly after crossing into Texas. It's pretty near Lake Charles, LA. which is a very sketchy area. I'll take this kid.

I watched the kid's senior hudl video. The first three minutes are of him running touchdowns. I don't see that as a bad thing. I actually prefer backs that put their foot in the ground and get up field.

I don't follow recruiting as much as some, but let's be honest, are we dogging this kid because he's not from Florida?

the florida biased is real here smh the kid can ball

Not Florida bias. I have seen his film multiple times as well as Homer's and Hamilton's.

Now please explain to me in detail where he looks to be better the the aforementioned.

Homer and Hamilton both show better vision, wiggle, speed and are both strong runners for their build.

Whaley is a straight line runner. His offensive line is making holes that I could run through in that video.

Watch with your eyes and not with your star filled glasses.

Idk I trust Richt's eye for RB talent anyday.

I trust South Florida. Freeman, Miller, Bernard, Gore, Duke...

Take all three. I am tired of just having one frigging running back. I want the days back where 1st string RB got hurt and some guy you never saw trots out and rips 150 yards and you for get the name of the other guy. Missing Collins crippled us. We need a couple top backs every year.

Can he score from the 2 and can he pick up 1st on 3rd and 2 or 3? That is what we have been missing and Gus is not that back. He might be big but he does not run big.
