Devron Davis?!?!

Is Thursday the deadline because he's waiting to EE or is Richt waiting on another kid to announce his decision.

Per the article he is looking to commit somewhere tomorrow he has recently heard from Hurlie Brown who loves his tape if Richt gives his blessing he will commit to Miami. Apparently his father is from S.Fla and he was born in S.Florida before moving to West Coast

He has other "Good Offers" for the guys that monitor offer sheets.

According to him, Artie is gone. Sucks because I think he would be a beast in an attacking scheme with a good DB coach.

There seems to be a disconnect between his "top schools" and the programs to which he's taking visits. He apparently released a Top 6 last week that included a bunch of top programs, but he's taking OVs to Cincinnati and Nebraska of all places. Neither Cincy or Nebraska are in his list of top schools.

Hope he isn't offered. Doesn't look UM caliber.

Just curious what is it about his film that you do not like?

Davis isn't bad, but I'd hope we could do better. Nice ball skills, underwhelming speed/athleticism in a brief glimpse of his highlights. It just seems like Richt intends to aim high with certain guys seemingly getting pushed out (possibly Phillips/Hamilton) and a bunch of players who weren't previously considering Miami possibly giving us a look now (i.e. Becker).

Completely understand the need for a JUCO corner, though, considering how thin we are at the position thanks to the prior staff.

Sucks that Folden left us in such a bad way at CB by passing on guys like Dowells and Hoggins, who definitely would have come here, and by missing on all the blue-chippers recently. Now, we're stuck reaching on dicey athletes and probably having to rely on true freshmans at CB.

Very average player don't see how we drop a kid like Phillips (remains to be seen if he was dropped) , and offer this kid.

His tape doesn't jump out, but he does seem to be very good at jumping routes and reading the quarterbacks eyes.

Elder and Redwine is a solid starting pair but depth is ****.

Need 3 freshmen studs and a JUCO

This kid also plays safety so that would be much needed mainly after next year. Gives us a chance to recruit their next cycle and get the 2017 safety recruits ready to play if we miss on our 2016 targets
