This, 100%.I know the staff is working and I know that we shouldn't be panicking...who knows what happens.
But I will say, regardless of all this, we have to address the process. It's worked the past couple of years but no one can argue that this is how we want to be positioned every year with a straight face.
There is absolutely zero reason we should be in a position where we are potentially left holding our ****s coming off the last two seasons, especially at this position.

It really is asinine…..Miami literally provides the best package (both financially and football wise) for most top prospects.I know the staff is working and I know that we shouldn't be panicking...who knows what happens.

If this were true, the agreement would have been made.It really is asinine…..Miami literally provides the best package (both financially and football wise) for most top prospects.
Not when you put all your eggs in one or two baskets. If this were true, the agreement would have been made.
I watched this kid 4-5 times this yearWe’ve gone to a ton of shorter pass plays with Beck and he’s been very successful with it. ****, we’ve even seen Beck be dangerous with his legs the last couple games.
I see no reason why Dampier couldn’t improve upon this formula.
AgreedHow about stfu… 24 TDs 5 INTs at 63% leads us to another undefeated season.
Who cares how it looksDampier is not in the portal and it would look bad for us to tamper, especially given everything Utah has gone through with their coach sneaking off to Michigan.
For the reasons you just stated to take into account is the exact reason why he’s the guy. The OL will be solid but not necessarily elite like this year. Which is why you need a guy that can make magic happen with his legs when he needs to.We don't need a Cam Ward but we also don't want to end up with a mid QB. You also have to take into account how the defense/offense will perform without some of it's best players next(this) year. I'd rather get closer to a sure thing, Cam, than bet on trying to replicate the same formula.
Welp - there’s that.
Sure hope we have a plan in place.
