Devante Peete?

We will take him as a TE. It's a reason he is playing TE now for STA. We what 2 TEs we got a Juco and with Clarington gone peete is the logical answer.

I actually think Gosier might be the answer. That kid is going to end up huge. He might even end up an edge player on defense.

I think you maybe right. i didnt think about that. He's 6-6 200 pounds. and can jump. idk about blocking though. I like Gosier though.

According to Washington we are done at TE this year:
"Coach [Al] Golden made it very clear that he’s excited about me. He said when they saw my film they knew right away they wanted me and that I’m the only tight end they’re bringing in this class. He said he’s excited I’m a ‘Cane and he’s expecting big things from me. I’m heading down there in January."

They told Cronkrite only 2 and they have 4 lol. but if we are done then i expect some to decommit. Spence will decommit i think

Am I the only one that likes gosier at DE? If he has the right mindset he could be very good there

Never thought about him at DE. I think he is a WR all the way though. He is a basketball player first and then Football player and usually they make good TE and WR.

Hmmmmmmmm well then I suppose if we are done at TE then no Peete. Alright, well I would guess then it's down to ridley and Calloway. If Spence decommits do we then go for some sleeper WR?

If Spence decommits, there is no reason to even go after another sleeper, save his scholly for a stud or another position.

lol @ Peete at Te. Dude is like 190 pounds....and doesnt block.

He is a wr all the way...a jump ball wr at that....he probably lines up at Te because STA is LOADED at wr...and its a way to get others involved and on the field.

STA has a wr -Grimes thats like a soph and a BEAST.
Peete is a take at wr all day every day.....i could care less what FSU is doing...Peete fits what we do on offense...and the type of wr's Pete Carroll use to go after at SC...He reminds of that Jarrett kid they had.

This is what I thought we would do with him RS him and play him at TE

Peete is not a TE. Far from it. Some schools do this. STA has a lot of talented kids and want to maximize and get as much as they can on the field at the same time.

Now maybe he could be a glorified TE.... Maybe. Basically a really big WR that's listed as a TE. But he won't be putting his hand in the ground to block.

Peete is a Cane. I'll say that. At receiver, He's more of the physical type, needs to get in the college weight room for a year being a little frail right now. He is a little raw, but he has the ability to be a physical, possession, move the chains and redzone threat. I don't think he will play right away as a freshman as he needs to develop a bit. But give him a year or two and he will be solid and a threat by his redshirt sophomore or redshirt junior year.

He's a different type than Langham. Langham more of that Tommy Streeter, stretch the field type of big receiver.

But Peete is a type of receiver we do not have yet in our ****nal. He is a take. He's very pro canes, and Michael Irvin already been in his ear. Peete has told Irvin himself he wants to attend Miami.

Gossier upside right now, at least from what has been said from peeps who have watched him is higher on the defensive side of the ball than offense. He is extremely raw right now. Gossier is purely a WR if he stays on offense in college. IDK how he will develop though.

Peete is a bit raw, but Gossier is extremely raw at Receiver. Gossier would have to develop for quite some time IMO. But if developed correctly he could be DANGEROUS.

BUT with the stack that's 2016 WR recruiting in South Florida. Idk if Gossier ends up in the 2015 class. We'll see. 2016 has more finer and developed receivers.

The BIG WR I want regardless of class year right now is Freddie Pinder. Pinder is the real deal! He's my #1 for those big skyscraper WRs in 2016. Pinder already almost 200, very physical, TD demon, and stands at 6'5. Watch his tape and you will see why he is my favorite for those BIG receivers.

As for Spence. I see Allen Hurns mold. Consistent, moves the chains, not flashy but gets it done. Thing is.... something going in between him and the staff right now. Spence might end up elsewhere, which I don't want him to.... at Auburn.

And I believe that has to do with, not much of a need to take too many receivers for 2015 when their is a true cream of the crop in decades at receiver in Florida in 2016.

Chatman I have warmed up to finally cause I've always been worried he would flip but I genuinely believe us taking a chance on him could really backfire on LSU who will come in hot now for him.

Chatman is the best receiver we are taking in 2015 that we realistically have a shot at, not named Ridley.

Ideal, I would take Callaway, Chatman and Peete. Weird feeling I get Spence doesn't end up here, but not because of talent, and we pass on Gossier.

And HOPEFULLY we take one of my favorites Jalen Julius as an athlete and figure whether WR or DB when he gets here.

I know I know, all the talk about Ridley and SBB and all that. But I'm not gonna buy into that for now unless we beat FSU and some things really set into motion from their mouth.

Washington going to be our TE we take and is very good find by the staff.

Clarington doesn't even play TE at this point at Booker T and his grades are in the toilet as far as we know. Probably Marshall, WVU or Prep. Sad but true.

Clarington has more upside as a DE than TE. Sadly, he won't make it in here though. He would be committed right now if he grades was not the case.
