Agreed. I just think from an administrative position when a kid puts forth the effort to improve like Gray apparently has you don't reward that with a first class ticket to Hargrave Military Academy. I would dare to venture that Clearinghouse standards are not especially rigid.

I give him credit because most commits would have given up but he wants to be a cane so bad you gotta respect it. He is going to be **** on the field once this stuff gets past him.

Some courses are only half a year and count as half a credit. Also many online classes that are electives only count as half credits. I'm a highschool student and half credit online courses are usually extremely quick and easy.

If you're wondering how he didn't know he was a half credit short, that's on his highschool and it's guidance office.

Thanks for the break down. I went to high school YEARS ago and we didn't have half credits.

Then he wouldn't be able to come in until next summer and we would have to recruit him for another year, not to mention we already have 4 hb commits and 3 wr commits while still trying to get Gibson and Ridley and Peete at wr....

well no ****. What I'm saying is if he really is this close there's nothing stopping him from getting here eventually, if he really wants it. Lots of guys say they are close but in reality can't even qualify after prep is what I'm saying.
 
Not worried about position for him and I imagine he isn't that concerned either. He just wants to go to UM and stay home.

Freak athletes like him will find a way to produce.
