It is a shame he decommitted UM's 2016 class, the kid is just flat out a football player. He is one of those you south Florida athletes you take and find a position for.

There's too many legit WR's in SFL who've actually practiced at the position to worry about kids like this. Love his speed but all these QB's who end up being WR's and RB's needs to stop.

Yeah he is a good one...has to be something that we don't know...i know before UGA made Shaq an offer..we had to authorize his grades to be released..that is something UM didn't do. I think Richt may have a more thorough vetting process...

Our three thinnest positions are WR, LB and DB -- the positions South Florida is most famous for.

and he was at a state school then too. imagine he would do more at a private school.
 
this board was in love with Choc the same way and he has done nothing here. u guys acted like he would come in and start day one. let Coach Richt handle this.

Granted Henderson is probably on thin Ice i just don't want to see us taking a WR who missed significant time in his HS career in Henderson and a kid in Phillips who's been a QB. Creates artificial depth and makes the position harder to recruit. One or the other scenario. Don't get me wrong though....I'd rather have phillips.

golden was loading the class up with kids from florida to save his job. pretend he was doing something. i will go by richt's assesment

That's because our coaches are dumb as sht and he should be a rs freshman with 3 years to play. You have to stack talent. every player isn't going to come in and play right away. Willis M must have been a piece of sht because he didn't start until 3 years into his career...and then should have won the Heisman as the best offensive player in the country.

You're right WM was a success story among a lot of failures. The problem is we don't know if those failures would have happened as much under a competent coaching staff. Since Butch left we have had 3 coaching staffs asleep at the wheel. The last being the worst. How many times did we see a more talented player on the bench while a jag was on the field. There are so many examples of our players going to the NFL and flourishing with good coaching. They should be getting good coaching and helping us win while they are here. Deon Bush looks the same this year as when he first got here. Isn't something wrong with that?
