2026 Derrek Cooper 5* RB/ATH from Chaminade Commits to Texas

Get talent and figure it out a later. Some of yall grown men need to get out of your feelings and stop feeling jaded in recruitments of these athletes. The same ones saying I dont Want cooper etc because it’s not an easy process and hasn’t gone our way yet was the same ones I’m sure talking sh*t when Malachi Toney decommitted from Miami last year too. So just relax and let the coaches work

This is dumb because it's not just like ******* collecting pokemon. There is a budget. I would 100/100 take Latimer or the IMG kid as RB2 for I'd assume legit like 1/8th the price, and dedicate that "savings" towards literally I straight up increasing our bids for the 5star DLineman we are after. The exact same answer for Paris over Russell at WR.

Upright runner that has good straight line speed. He’s more physical than Lingard but I see the comparison. Long speed and acceleration are two different things.

Anyone who followed recruiting closely knew he was not going elsewhere . I literally laughed as my updates when FSU was pushing their insanity. There was never any threat of him committing there or anywhere else . So I don’t think these are remotely alike.

Especially considering 2 of the top 5 leading rushers in the Nation right now are former G5'ers & the Nation leader is a current G5'er.
