A great bargain if spread over 4 years; way too high if per year. Would be insane to pay that.Ferman mentioned last night on his podcast that the deal with Texas was for 1M,didn't specify for how many years but also mentioned Miami was not going to pay that to a high school RB.
This is dumb because it's not just like ******* collecting pokemon. There is a budget. I would 100/100 take Latimer or the IMG kid as RB2 for I'd assume legit like 1/8th the price, and dedicate that "savings" towards literally I straight up increasing our bids for the 5star DLineman we are after. The exact same answer for Paris over Russell at WR.Get talent and figure it out a later. Some of yall grown men need to get out of your feelings and stop feeling jaded in recruitments of these athletes. The same ones saying I dont Want cooper etc because it’s not an easy process and hasn’t gone our way yet was the same ones I’m sure talking sh*t when Malachi Toney decommitted from Miami last year too. So just relax and let the coaches work
I highly doubt that cooper (or his people) would agree to 1M over 4 years… maybe 2 years max.A great bargain if spread over 4 years; way too high if per year. Would be insane to pay that.
Miami is losing anywhere between 3 to 4 starters and the oline for next year, so who got next?IMO our OL and our scheme mask this type of players weaknesses. If he goes somewhere else with no OL he will be buried or moved to LB imo. He has to go to a team built in the trenches whether its us or someone else.
You make too much sense to post on here. This is dumb because it's not just like ******* collecting pokemon. There is a budget. I agree with this sentiment, but the situations are different since those two never committed or signed NiL deals elsewhere. When yall said Bain played with his recruitment and flirted with fsu at times yall bashed him, Toney when he decommitted same thing. How about just relax and let It play out
$1 million dollars for a RB, outta High school???Ferman mentioned last night on his podcast that the deal with Texas was for 1M,didn't specify for how many years but also mentioned Miami was not going to pay that to a high school RB.

JAG (unless he flips, then he's the next Derrick Henry)
Upright runner that has good straight line speed. He’s more physical than Lingard but I see the comparison. Long speed and acceleration are two different things.Oof he does look like Lingard lmao
Anyone who followed recruiting closely knew he was not going elsewhere . I literally laughed as my updates when FSU was pushing their insanity. There was never any threat of him committing there or anywhere else . So I don’t think these are remotely alike. When yall said Bain played with his recruitment and flirted with fsu at times yall bashed him, Toney when he decommitted same thing. Give me a million dollar OL and a 100,000 dollar RB any day over the reverse! With Miami’s OL we will continue to eat with or without Coop.
