That's not always how scheme work. Obviously talent is the end all. But in some cases(like his) he runs an intricate system. It's more about football IQ & processing than it is the talent. Obviously he's got tons of talent over there. But they have to get used to what's being asked of them now because it's not simply read & react. I haven't paid attention to who they have. But as long as he's got a QB now with arm talent & the ability to read a defense he'll be fine.

This is why UGA, Ohio State, and Alabama change coordinators and change position coaches and they still win and they still send people to the league.
You had to be an idiot at Bama not to put Patrick Surtain or Fitzpatrick in the first round.

And you’d have to be a complete moron, not to be able to put J smith in the first round.
Development is for the most part a players personal choice to work and a coaches ability to recognize talent.

There isn’t anybody out there teaching some transcendent super top secret techniques that only he knows about.
