Willis wouldā€™ve been a top five, top three pick had he did not blown out his knee in the Fiesta Bowl. Gore is another running bag who wouldā€™ve gone ham in this offense. So would Portis, as would Najeh. Imagine Edge out there.

itā€™s what they've been doing for years and they still have Saban behind the the scenes making sure nil is on point.

People on here keep saying the playing field is level.

Obviously itā€™s not.

All the top spending schools are still Hoarding 5 stars like toilet tissue during a pandemic.

And taking multiple of them isnā€™t cheap. So no, the playing field hasnā€™t leveled and people on here and on social media acting like they know what our budget is are lying. Theyā€™re repeating what theyā€™ve been told or what theyā€™ve heard.

So while Russell may not be worth the alleged nil Syracuse is giving him (I doubt that number is true). He also isnā€™t a lock to be elite as Cooper is projected to be.

Losing cooper to bama or Uga will 100% be a money issue.
This isnā€™t gonna be a J smith type situation. J Smith had to be pulled away from osu. According to all the recruiting gurus this is a cane lock and some in here have said ā€œworst kept secret in sofla is cooper to Miamiā€.

IMO, what you wrote is the only explanation. It's the explanation for why Kirby did what he did at UGA, and Day can do what he does at Taint. Deboer is at least a good coach, those two are JAGs as coaches. They get it done because the donors have organized their bags and NIL to be top 5. There are exceptions, of course. WRs want to play at OSU for their WR coach, DBs at LSU for their DB coach. OL at Miami for our OL coach. But the money has to be in the ballpark.

Countless insiders told us we are in good position and in advance were notified the kid will enjoy the process yet the board freaks out when it plays out that way. Never change CIS never change.

Saban has been more involved than making sure NIL is there. He's been in the locker room on recruit visits.
