It was something like 51/49% in favor of kicking the FG and less than 15% succeeding on 4th & goal from the 10.

You can tell me all you want how you "feel" but the math says either decision was basically the same.

You sound like the ******* playing blackjack that hits on 16 and gets lucky and then pretends that they made the "right" call.
Like I said, its not even about feeling strongly what the better decision is. People don't like to listen even though I've already said I'd lean towards going for it too lol....But acting like its an inexcusable mistake to make that decision, and then saying things like you don't know whats worse that decision or not kneeing against GTech 2 years ago.... lmao.

How much more obvious can it be that people only base their Mario hating judgements on the end-result of a decision whether it worked or not? It doesn't matter if the Win probability at best was probably 10-20% max as soon as we got to 4th down in that moment... It doesn't matter that that decision was at worst a 65/35 type decision. All that matters is we lost, so it's just evidence Mario was terrible at managing games... Still.

And any future game we lose is just more evidence that he is terrible at managing games. Because it wont be about the decisions actually made in context of those moments, it'll just be about the result, and you find the excuse to put ALL the blame on that one moment after the fact.

Oh well...

You are my guy! But Cuse was not on cam!!!! That’s crazy, he was dicing them. Cuse was awful coaching, a terrible holding call, two awful fumbles. GT was definitely not his best performance coaching was cheeks. Lost to a team that could barely complete a forward pass
Reread what I wrote.

Personally I definitely don't think JT is that coach. If you're saying simply as a coach which is separate from a recruiter I think Joe was far better for us as a d-line coach than JT. But if you don't think we've had a good one since Mario got here who is the last good d line coach you think we've had? This should be interesting. I wanna see how many people are honest with themselves. To clarify since you're saying since Mario got here than you're saying you don't think Damion is a good COACH either?
You will see this year what JT's DL should look like. Let's revisit this comment in November. I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised.

This thread just needs some talk of George The Animal Steele, Best BBQ Sandwich state, and what was the loudest Miami game you have ever been to and how you are wrong its was as loud as ______.

Then we can lock this up.

We have been consistently been an elite recruiting team compared to the rest of the ACC, but nationally we’re a notch or two below.

Absolutely correct. #1 in the ACC the last 3 cycles.

Let's win the ACC, let's make the playoffs, and then let's elevate a notch or two when we are in the Big 10. Or SEC. And have the corresponding money.

Why is it < 15%?

And again if you are blindly looking at 51/49 without the context of your entire season being on the line then you aren't doing your job as a head coach

Oh you were referring to '23 GT? Yes, of course that's one of the worst football decisions of all time.
