I actually think King is almost universally appreciated. If it were a political poll he would have a 90% approval rating. Couple things to remember when on this CIS;
  • This is a free site. Anyone can hop on and post whatever they want anytime. That $90.00 a year or whatever it is fee from other sites will filter out a lot of people. (dont see too many free sites this popular with other teams)
  • That means there is also going to be a lot of trolls & drunken idiots posting things
  • The site is very loosely moderated compared to others. Personal attacks get banned but negative comments, no matter how detrimental or outlandish are part of the free speech policy for good or bad. Some of the stuff here would not stick on say a Texas A&M message board
  • Angry or negative opinions are proven to be acted upon at much higher percentage. 10 people could love having D'Eriq King but they wont post that. The person who is angry with hie performance is the one who will put pen to paper.
I greatly appreciate everything he has done for the program and admire him as a person even more. If I had a chance to hire him to my company, I would create a position for him just to make it work. I strongly believe an overwhelming majority of the fans feel the same way.

Again, depth charts are mere formalities. King is listed because he wants UVA to prepare this week for him. If they spend time preparing for King, that automatically means they take less time to prepare for TVD and Marino...er, I mean Garcia. Nevertheless, Bronco isn't falling for any of that crap. He's a coach unlike Diaz he's a corch.

You always hear the loud idiots over the quiet masses. We get some dumbasses on this site but don't let that color your impression of the overall fanbase's feelings. I'd imagine most normal fans respect the **** out of King, both as a person and fantastic player. He's certainly the best QB we've had since Dorsey as far as I am concerned. Nothing but respect for the man.
