I’m someone who is beyond appreciative of what D’Eriq has provided us on the field for over a year and hopefully in the locker room for the years moving forward, but at the same time is excited to see what TVD or Garcia can do.

It’s not as if I have only a certain amount of fandom to give and by giving it to the new guys, it comes at the expense of D’Eriq.

There will always be hatin weirdos and trolls. Anyone who is hating on D’Eriq should just not be taken seriously imo

I shouldn’t react to it I know better. But I think in my head I know they’re going to do the same thing to TVD or Jake and it Burns me up

Why does everything have to be looked at in a vacuum? No ones directly comparing their stats to D’Eriq’s hypothetical stats.

It’s possible to recognize the young guys have an exciting and different skill set, AND were facing a cupcake last game. We’re intrigued by what we might have for the future. It’s not a knock on King.

he should have been pulled in the mich state game. everyone knew he was hurt when Rambo was 5 yards behind the defense and king throws it 10 yards short for an interception. He was skipping balls on out routes. I dont think the hate is for king, he just didnt give us the best chance to win.

Both things can be true and are true lol him underperforming turned into other things really quick

I don't care who starts on a piece of paper. Get in the game, perform and you will stay on the field...is what I would like to say...but we don't give our better players opportunities to do this lol Sigh.

Supposedly King tweeted something and then deleted right away. Did anyone see what he said?

Its like no one can admit that team was not a barometer of anything... other than how one guy who played in the game looked against the other guys who played in the game. TVD vs Garcia comparisons are valid but any comparison to King is weird. King would have torched that team and it would have been his best game ever. Of course QBs do well when half the routes are wide open and the pressure is non existent. We dont pick QBs on 7 on 7 stats. Are we now going to say Garcia is a better runner than King as well because he averages 45 yards a carry? No... of course not because that would be stupid... which is the same thing with every passing stat from that game. I am not knocking the new guys but the reality is one of them is leaving at years end. I thought TVDs arm looked weak and Garcia's accuracy was questionable. I have no idea what they do under pressure which is perhaps the #1 skill a QB needs to run this team.
