And while Miami has never been short on money, the xtra income has I think given us the resources to compete with anyone this year financially

So yeah, a national contender in Miami with a level playing field in money is hard to beat. Why SEC n B1G wanted to rewrite the $ rules for playoffs.

A guy that was supposed to pick us but picks Ohio St in a surprise, then is supposed to be on an OV but “doesn’t make it”…. Come on now lmao. We’ve seen this before… this is a smaller and small chance we end up with him. Kid just doesn’t seem to want to be a Cane. Better hope we land Bryant imo

Yeah so he’s sneaking around but won’t be seen in public with us lol…. We’re like the girl that believes the dude is actually gunna get divorced and leave his wife…

We are getting closer and closer to where it’s time to **** or get off the pot with Jacob’s purely in terms of when we can realistically keep thinking we really have a shot with him. The longer it plays out without him flipping the less likely we get him. Will we keep recruiting and trying? Sure. With a guy of his talent it’s not worth giving up even during season. But...

I was saying we don't want it dragging on before a flip. Then within 2 days we flip Bryant.

Now you're trying to gaslight us into believing that you didn't say what you said? Funny stuff.

If those were your only two posts, we wouldn't have spent the last two DAYS shredding your ongoing double-downs and endless ****porsting, including the "FACTS!" diatribe.

And for the love of god, don't tell us "I was saying we don't want it dragging on before a flip." That's not what you said, and you **** well know it.
 
Flips all depend on the state the kid is living
If that state allows collecting nil starting in hs no flip
If not its flip season till signing day

Yeah but kids dont have to sign NIL. The more the system continues, the more players are aware of these roadblocks. Also they may sign stuff but tell the schools they wont start collecting till such time to protect themselves. Atleast that's what I would advise kids to do. I will sign as long as contract only becomes enforceable after i start collecting would be the stance i take up.

And here's something to think about. I was talking with a co-worker from Wisconsin who is a big booster and connected to other alums up there. He admitted to me that Wisconsin ****ed up their own program by shoving these 2-year and 3-year NIL deals down the throats of the recruits. And all it took was Xavier Lucas challenging the system to break the illusion that these players have "no choice" but to sign the most oppressive deals.

And I know that other attorneys on the board such as @AtlAtty and @Fluffhead and @RVACane have similar sentiments. People can CLAIM that these NIL deals and rev-share deals are "negotiated" fairly, but the reality is that there is such a tremendous disparity between the parties. Schools like Wisconsin are among "the most powerful universities in the country", while many of these recruits are from poor families that have never hired an attorney in their lives.

Right now, through avenues like legislation and lawsuits, schools are trying to impose a NEW restrictive and one-sided system to replace the OLD restrictive and one-sided system. "Sure, we'll give you some cash if we can still treat you like our property." It's just ridiculous.
