Y'all gotta relax brother. For my stance I agree on all the passive aggressive **** and it annoys the **** outta me. But like you, I'm with the *****. Any keyboard oriented conversation had on this isn't worth that level of aggression or aggregation because 9 out of 10 whoever you speaking with they ain't on that and ain't built that way. I can't speak on anyone else's interactions with you but my own. I've always said I see SOME of your concerns and then I explained what was being done to address some of them or where I shared concerns. The issue was ONLY harping on constant negativity instead of seeing the necessary steps in the process and realizing how bad the state of the program actually was when he got here. Instead of all the constant manny could've done this and oh no we're winning and losing this many games y'all never wanted to listen to anything that showed the emphasis shouldn't be on wins and losses at that point. Regardless that ***** in the past. Now I'm just glad to see a kink in your armor

I've agreed with you when you made a good point. I disagreed with you on your general tone.

Excuses were made, I disagreed it's in the past I dont really care. We winning now.

Money ain't the issue. Obviously gotta budgetize what you're spending. But in the scenario you pointed out DJ & jaiden is the obvious choice. Mirabal has already shown he'll take anybody and have them as exactly what we need. Another reason in that logic is normally you get production quicker out of an edge than you would a offensive tackle. One position can be impacted by speed and technique to a extent while the other routinely requires a kid to grow into his body and develop physically. That usually takes time. Only speaking on an impact not playing at peak form.

Do they view Ms. Elko Era as Cantwell/Cici or Samson where he took a couple of years?

I think another factor no one has mentioned is that if we got both would JT be less inclined to take another job?

Given his ties to Miami and that Heatherman may not be here much longer, getting both may help keeping JT here as he may have made promises to the kids and their families. Definitely speculating.

Speculation is a kind way to put that. JT and heatherman won't be here much longer I'd say. But not gonna talk about this right now. Also Samson gets a really ****** take on here. If he was healthy he would've been prioritized early on as well and allowed to grow with cici and annez. He wasn't obviously and as a result his reps and obviously his progress took a back seat to our starters. To be clear, no he wasn't cici nor was that ever expected. But he would've been a bookend starter by this point and would have ZERO questions. For those unaware Samson mentality is very different from cici and similar to annez. Dude plays with a mean streak. I'm not an offensive line guy but speaking simply as someone with a lil bit of a qualified opinion on a defensive mindset, I'd much rather play against a dude who just goes about his thing on the offensive line than I would someone who wants to end you... That's how Samson approaches this. He wants those cakes... (Pause or not)
