But each school has a different NIL structure. Some kids sign binding agreements that are kind of hard to get out of, others dont.

At the end of the day let the staff work. They have already proven then can not only flip but bring in ELITE level dudes from everywhere.

And which part of that has to do with me saying the longer it goes on the worse the odds are especially if we pass through summer without a flip and when he's missing his no-showing his OV date?

The only comparable flip we have actually made is Scott which happened before NIL was allowed pre-enrollment, and Hayden Lowe. You can say Stancil but even that was a different level of recruit than we are talking.

Almost all our post summer flips are later risers and/or committed to lesser programs.

Lowe is really the only good example we have at us succeeding at flipping an elite player post summer in the new NIL era. There are many where we have been told we are working on late flips and it just never happens

It doesn't make it impossible to flip, but it makes it significantly harder, which is why elite guys flipping is less and less common during the season and on NSD.

Also, they make it sound like just because we have nil all of the sudden everything is legal and written in some contract.
People haven’t realized that ever since before nil a lot of the deals weren’t necessarily with the kids themselves but with the parent.

So while the legit part of nil may make it easier for the player to stay clear of ineligibility because it’s now legal, it doesn’t stop the possible old school bags or side deals to be done with the parent or whoever the player is involved with. And that’s why now it’s so hard to predict a flip to you or away from you.

To be fair you kind of made a blanket statement about 5 star players, and then backpedaled into the point.

Either it happens or it never happens. It cannot be both.



Now, I have some additional questions, knowing full well you will try to discount all of this by saying (a) these are not "elite" recruits, and/or (b) these are somehow "late-risers", which I address below.



Additional 2025-2026 questions:

1. Did we or did we not flip Milan Paris in October, months after he was ranked in the Top 250 in the composite? Is he or is he not the fifth highest rated (composite) recruit in our class?

2. Did we or did we not flip JJ Dunnigan in October/November, months after he was ranked in the Top 250 in the composite? Is he or is he not the sixth highest rated (composite) recruit in our class?

3. Thank you for mentioning Keshawn Stancil, the seventh highest rated (composite) recruit in our class. That wasn't a question.

4. Did we or did we not flip DeAnthony Lafayette in November, months after he was ranked in the Top 350? Is he or is he not the fourteenth highest rated (composite) recruit in our class (and still a Top 350 composite 4-star recruit)?

5. Did we or did we not flip Brody Jennings in July, months after he was ranked in the Top 350? Is he or is he not the fifteenth highest rated (composite) recruit in our class (and still a Top 350 composite 4-star recruit)?

6. Did we or did we not flip Vance Spafford in late June (while he was a Top 100 recruit, notwithstanding how he was dropped after the flip)? Is he or is he not the sixteenth highest rated (composite) recruit in our class (and still a Top 350 composite 4-star recruit)?

3. Did we or did we not flip Ny Carr in September/October, after he was a long-time Top 100 (composite) recruit? Is he or is he not the fifth highest rated (composite) recruit in our class that year?
