I know this is off topic, but my 8 year old son chipped his front top tooth. This happened about two hours ago and we'll be visiting a dentist tomorrow.

Has any parent had this happen and what should I expect or do to have it corrected as perfectly as possible? I'll be damned if he has a screwed up looking front tooth. Any dentists here?

Yes, unfortunately. I'm a shook as can be over this. Broke my heart a little even though it's not life threatening or anything. He says people will make fun of him, etc.
If people ask... have him tell them motorcycle accident... then offer them some bubblegum... instantly coolest kid in school. 😄

You will get it fixed. They will likely be able to do something temporarily before the solution so kids can’t clown on him

He's the biggest kid by far in his class, but kids can be little ***** without meaning to be. I'll give him a pass if he wants to Hulk smash some wise ***. Not really, but tempting.

You can try a filling first. Sometimes they can last a few years. He just needs to be careful biting into hard foods. I would try that first. If it breaks a few times then you’ll probably need to crown it.

I mean, you could keep it for a few weeks and then your son could dress as a Gator fan for Halloween
