Manny probably wanted to cancel the interview when he ask Turner to pick out his favorite DB from Miami. Turn gave the best answer possible - It's to much talent from Miami to pick his favorite DB. It's obvious Turner bleeds orange and green like everyone on the bord. :neonu:

Nice. Said it before, but really glad to see Golden going after local talent at traditional powerhouse high schools. And in Broward no less...Dillard, Ely, Deerfield, St. Thomas, and of course Miramar. Dade recruiting goes without saying.

He will receive great coaching at Dillard this year. Lorenzo Davis is a great coach and a great guy.

Dennis Turner highlights @ 55 sec, 1:10.

Like this kid. Sounds like a Cane. Kid is just starting senior year and is already comfortable with the mike in his hand. Will do well as one of the stars of the documentary about our next tewnty years of dominance!

Wait, Dillard has a white QB??

Kid is Bud Martin. Grew up and played at STA as his dad coached there, but transfered to Dillard to play and get his tape out last year. Was stuck behind O'Korn who by the way was way better than a Houston commit. He committed early to Sumlin but never wavered when he left. Bud would never have seen the field so had to make a move. He is now being looked at by the likes of Syracuse, Purdue, etc. Was the best thing he could do for himself.

Does look kinda funny though LOL.

Dillard will be a school to look out for. They appear to be well-coached (finally), particularly on offense. They looked very sharp at times last night, they just couldn't handle STA's D-line. I think Turner caught a bomb on STA's defense just before i got to the game.

Did anyone make it out to this game? How did Turner look in coverage against Holmes and/or Peete? Is he playing defense yet at Dillard or is that just what his projected position is in college?

I didn't see Turner on defense but I got there with about 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Turner ran right past Al Harris USCe commit. Could have done it all game. Kid is severely underrated.

Moten looks good when he wants to. He can play a little soft honestly just like Jelani did at STA. The one caveat with these 6'5" 260-275lb players is they tend to finesse more in high school before they gain the strength to play to their size. They are long and athletic, but overall Moten in 2 years = beast mode, just like I expect Jelani to look like, if not this year definitely next. Kid should have Rshirted for sure, but of course we had no depth. Moten will shirt and be a **** good player. USCe is our main competition here.

--- St. Thomas defensive linemen Anthony Moten and Nicholas Bosa were dominant. This is per the Sun Sentinal report of the game. Here's the link
