touchmoney is gonna be livid lmao

I guess the Math is:

CJ Daniels + Keelan Marion + Tony Johnson = Jeremiah Smith

I'm sure that @Reyrey is going to be super-excited now that I'm not ignoring any of our wonderful Portal WRs, at least when comparing our program to Clemson or Syracuse...

I officially do not understand what we're doing at the WR position

Have you looked at our depth?
Ray Ray was bad last year. Chance has never been healthy. We have 3 freshman WRs we really like, but expecting them all to be major contributors would be very dumb. And after that we had Daniels and Trader. So adding 2 or even 3 portal WRs always made sense.

We missed on adding a top portal WR in winter and none entered in Spring. So we are adding a bunch of guys that we expect to set a high floor and so we can ensure we have 6 guys we are confident in and can overcome injuries with.

So you'd have just not added anyone versus adding this kid? We can afford to feed him, we'll be OK. He's got a locker.
Maybe I misunderstood your post, but the idea of saying we'd prefer this guy to Jeremiah Smith is Nole logic. They didn't want Ward, they really wanted DJU, remember?

I've got no problems with adding bodies as long as enough of them are really good. I'm just not seeing enough really good just yet and the clock's running.

My bad, misunderstood you as well.

I was just saying, we knew we didn't have the world's most experienced WR room 5 minutes ago. We knew adding anything out of the spring portal wouldn't change that at all. But, as soon as we add this kid, it'll be 50 pages of crying, when we're in probably the same situation as we were in, if anything it improved, even if it's marginally. But we'll never pass up an opportunity to grab our **** and have a good cry.
