I disagree this is Mario's dream job and Phillip Knight has gone on record stating he does not want to pay big $$$$ for coaching after Helfrich and Taggart.......

No *********ion here (at least right now) and agree he’s not coming but please share your brilliance About when any currently employed head coach has shown public evidence of wanting a job somewhere else before they suddenly take that job. Go ahead I have some popcorn so I’ll wait for your stunning insight
 
Mario has conveyed interest in the Miami job as long as there were major overhauls in the athletic department. Viable option next year if Manny gets fired.

I don't have it but i read it a couple years ago , he became discouraged after the $ he paid for Helfrich coming off Kelley and then paying for Taggart only to have him bolt after a year........this was part of the reason Mario did not get a big contract to start .........i believe if you Google Nike and how it impacts the Uof Oregon and how Knight influences every aspect of the college it was in that.......
 
Good. Mario and his sorry *** offense would guarantee perpetual death struggles with middling ACC teams. And yes, Manny sucks too. Both of these things can be true simultaneously.

I just read he’s the 56th in salary in the nation but his buyout of before Jan 20 is 9million and 8 million after that.
LOL if our BOT is willing to fork over that money as well as Manny’s buyout.
His phone will be ringing off the hook if anyone at a top program gets canned. It’s probably already ringing in fact. No way Oregon doesn’t give him a raise or else he’s fresh for the picking and no one would blame him considering he just won a conference where he’s 8th in salary.

I have first hand knowledge that you are absolutely positively false. The interest is there. You have to recognize Mario has a wife to who needs to be happy when her husband works so many hours. There is a coach on our team who worked for Mario who was told he will be taken care of no matter what by Mario. Lets leave it at that.
 
He still wants to be the head coach here, despite what our fuggin ****** fans keep saying.

Why are people still posting about him? He’s not coming this year regardless this season. Move on for the time being.

CIS Message Board Rule #1: Never, ever shoot down a phony rumor/lie that the usual suspects have composed. Doing so causes great consternation to the HERD members and is grounds for suspension.
 
Mario is NOT coming here, probably not EVER because our program, the people who run it, and the facilities are TRASH compared to Oregon and other schools where he might be lured for big bucks. Why would anyone want to work for the idiot Blake James and this BOT and administration who are totally incompetent!? Miami is a mess and I question whether our athletic programs, especially football ever recover from James’ bungling administration.
