Defensive minded coaches going uptempo spread

Saban and Coach O are both defensive minded coaches who transitioned their offenses to a version of the spread. They saw the game changing around them and adjusted. Saban won a few titles with pro-style offenses but struggled with spread teams. He saw the future. Coach O saw his pro-style wasn’t going to beat Alabama, so he joined the club.
