None of this matters. Lazy members of the media and propagandists will still spin tales of the massive "size advantage" of the SEC. Jesu Cristo, Lebatard has been doing it for over a decade here anytime we play an OOC game against them. And if you're ever able to actually force the measureables upon these clowns they just default to things like the "eye test" and "well, they're stronger".

And this makes no excuse for us sucking for what is approaching 2 decades now or even minimizes the recent SEC dominance, but there more often than not isn't a massive size disparity when 2 good P5 teams have faced each other- disirregardless of conference.

Our defensive line is roughly same size as the 49ers defensive line and they were number 1 in run stopping in the NFL

Need to show a lot of misdirection and confuse your opponent on which hole you're attacking.

And every single player in the niners d line would take a spot on every p5 team.

The nfl is the greatest bottle neck of athleticism in the world.

There are about 15,200 d1 players fighting for a spot in the nfl.

Including compensatory picks, that’s about 250 each year that make it to the league. And most of those are gone in 2-4 years.

Let’s not compare position groups to nfl teams based on size alone.
