Lol at Crawford and Wyche starting.

I fully expect Wyche to be the starter come Sept 1st. (or whenever the first game is)...Who else can man the NG position? Hertelou is not a starter. He is a solid backup. From everything I saw out of Wyche in the spring game, he looked ready to take the reins finally.

I agree with Crawford. That's a reach.

Would love to see Owens start but I would give McCord every chance to hang on to that spot.

Never underestimate the hard-on that Golden has for seniors.

Fentress, Cornelius, Pierre, Gaines, Green, Highsmith, Armbrister...we've seen it again and again.

Rok telling the truth here. Young offense. With two senior WR's in Rashawn Scott and Herb Waters. That are both experienced.

I think Owens "starts" but I expect McCord to play just as many snaps.

Our front 7 is going to be Kamalu at DT, Wyche or Heurt at NT, Chad Thomas at DE, AQM at rush, Kirby, Grace, and Owens or McCord at LB. McCord will play more on passing downs and Jackson will probably see time at rush end along with Harris.

Offense is young on paper but check this:

Kaaya: 13 career starts

Edwards/Yearby: 213 combined carries

Scott/Waters/Coley/Lewis/Berrios: 210 combined career receptions

Isidora, Gadbois, Linder, Darling, McDermott, Gall, Wells, Odogwu have all gotten snaps

Defense will be much improved this year.

On paper this D-line looks to be the most talented we have had in many, many years. Now, will the coaches let them get after anyone?

Because of less than average recruiting and maintaining recruiting balance at all positions, there will always be imbalance on defense and offense with Golden. As soon as you plug one leak, another rears its head. Just when we thought the defense would be much improved we realize that in 2016 our DT position will have inexperienced 3 star studs manning the front. Chad and AQM will probably opt for NFL following 2016 season and who knows, if Golden is still here. As bad as we need DT's not a real one committed for 2016. We may be better, but what top 15 team would you bet your mortgage on we beat with Al and Donut at helm?

Soooo...

Everybody called me crazy before last season when I said the defense would be ranked top-20.

I turned out to be right.

This season: Top-12.

Neg away!

When you watched us play did it look like a top 20 defense,I recall us not been able to get off the field against Nebraska and GT.Golden had the offense run the clock down to a second before every snap to limit the opponents possessions.

The defense last season looked like total **** in all but these games:

VT
Duke
FAMU
UNC
Cincy
