Defense could have as many as 8 senior starters

When you watched us play did it look like a top 20 defense,I recall us not been able to get off the field against Nebraska and GT.Golden had the offense run the clock down to a second before every snap to limit the opponents possessions.

Sure it did. What do you think a top-20 defense looks like? We're not talking top-10 here.

I think defenses within the top-15 to top-25 feast off lesser opponents and take their lumps against better ones.

I think that's a pretty fair assessment of last season's defense.

Yardage or scoring? I'm assuming you mean total yards or more accurately total yards per game.

Top-12 in Total Yardage. Top-17 in scoring.
