Defense among cfb elite

We are for sure a top 10 D . Is that elite ? I consider top 5 elite . We are really really good . Too young in the secondary to be elite at the moment IMO . I suspect we will be elite next year despite having new LB as our secondary and DLINE is going to be the best it has been in 15 years next season .
 
I knew this was going to happen. Our stats look good but did you watch the VT game? The GT game? Those 2 games are probably why we don't win the coastal.

Our good defensive stats stems from the fact we play teams that are transitioning from the triple option to a spread.

We just won a game where we scored 16 points. Not exactly a shining offensive blitz.

So no, I won't shut the fck up.

Fix the offense first.
Fix special teams second.
 
The defense is average to above average, some games against bad offenses it can be good, but that's it.
Y'all need to drop this 7pt against GT bull****, the defense gave up 2 14+ plays drives that on the second half, our offense had 4 possesions the whole half

The D has played very good at times this year. Last season our D was elite. That's all I'm getting at. Your post about our D be in ng elite is wrong and the D gets a lot of blame in 3 of our 4 losses.
