December 5th Draft decision updates

Posted these updates in other threads but wanted to keep them in one place. Few things I’m hearing this morning as guys near decisions in terms of staying or entering the draft

Matt Lee: as I posted yesterday morning, he’s leaning towards leaving right now. Miami was hopeful last week that he would stay but looks more likely he’s gone.

Jalen Rivers: staying in school of last night

Jared Harrison-Hunte: huge one for Miami here. Leaning towards staying in school

Kiko Maiugoa: been going back and forth but still more likely that he stays than goes. Scouts are under the impression that he’s staying in school. Parents want him to play another year with his brother

Not totally what he said. Ferman said he believes Lee leaves but unsure what Kiko would do. He wouldn't be surprised either way.

All speculation from Sperman because that’s all he’s got.

Matt Lee would be a big loss for us. If he stays our O-line has the potential to be top 5 in the country.

Rodriguez has stepped in for limited reps. Francovilla is a C prospect. Hopefully we are kicking the tires in the portal too. Can't get complacent.

Splitting one of Lee/Rivers is huge. Means we retain 3/5 starters. I always saw Lee as a one year rental anyways, although it sounds like staying an extra year would serve him well.

I'm as big a fan of Lee more than anyone on the team pretty much. Would be a huge loss for leadership alone. He has all the grit and passion that players like Van Dyke lacked
