Dear UM Ticket Office...

This is a big boy program now, ticket office needs to be completely restructured. There should be concrete benefits conferred on season ticket holders of consecutive years, including priority/exclusivity for things like this.
HC is voluntary. There should be a tax deductible aspect of season tickets. Florida does that. But with them just being a season ticket means a priority but you ain't donating to their boosters same problem getting tickets for games like this one.

Forcing function have to upgrade tiers. All you ****ers moving into my tier. I kid.

I was shocked it was only a two-tier priority. Imagine someone who's been a season ticket holder for 20+ years and Hurricane Club member for 15+ years, losing out on tickets so someone who donated $100 to Hurricane club last night to get in the same queue. Crazy...
that would be me (25+ years ticket holder and HC member). Logged on at 11:00 and never got past the third "block" on the walk of shame....

they did- that was december.

I tried to get baseball tix last year sent email thru their site never heard back

You are absolutely incompetent.

You created a virtual queue system for national championship ticket distribution, but failed to mention there would be any virtual queue.

The virtual queue system (other than a white stick figure slowly walking along some green bar, absent discernible measurement) also failed to provide any indication of a fan's place in line, how many people were ahead of them in queue, or ticket availability.

This system also seems to have ignored priority points entirely, which has historically been the way UM handles ticket allotments.

You also gave 2026 season ticket renewals priority over 2025 season ticket holders (making it possible for IU fans to buy priority access over actual UM season ticket holders who stood by the program this year).

Absolutely incompetent. And I say this as someone who has two tickets to the game.
Glad I’m not the only one that’s super frustrated with these clowns.

Meh. Thousands of people were going to get shut out today no matter what method they used. And if you truly want it to go by priority status, the top donors would have scooped up 100% of the remaining tickets even though they already had their block of 12.

Yeah, they should have made Tropical Storm level lower priority to stop potential abuse by IU fans.

I get people complaining, but tickets were readily available Dec. 8th. I understand not everyone "got" an email (kinda sus, but sure it happens), but certainly given the discussion on this board, you would have been aware that an email went out.

It's obvious we have a lot of illiterate people in our fanbase. If people would have read the original email, or even the follow ups, they would know that 1)Most of the allotment was accounted for in the original wave and 2)Today was a lottery, with limited inventory.

That said, the ticket office screwed up royally, because they didn't think this through all the way.

1)2025 season ticket holders and HC members should have had first dibs(Outside of the student body). Why? Because those people donated before we knew this game was happening, so that precludes IU fans getting their hands on tickets, unless they are a Miami/IU alum, or donor(I'm willing to bet there aren't many of those)

2)If you are going to make this a cash grab, MAKE IT WORTH YOUR WHILE. In order to be eligible for today's sale, new HC members should have been required to donate at least $1,000. Why? Because that again eliminates people, few scalpers and IU fans are willing to gamble that much on something that has a low success probability. We can all spare a hunski, but a stack is a lot of money for most people.

3)Make it about HC priority. Instead of the complete free for all, just say "We have x amount of tickets, we will make them available based on priority level". That would reward long time donors and supporters, eliminate IU people and is the fairest way to distribute tickets, outside of selling to the students(Who would have bought them up anyway, preventing this from being an issue)
