Dear UM Ticket Office...

Looks like iu fans stole some of our tickets just like they do with our signs
Extremely unlikely. Sounds a lot like trolling. First, they would have needed to donate to the HC to get into today's morning drawing. That said, unless you lucked out and hit the line early, you were unlikely to get a ticket. People are overestimating how many tickets were available today. It was less than a thousand, and that's a generous estimate. I wouldn't be shocked if 500 tickets were available.

Let's say there were 20k online today(On the low end, we sell more season tickets than that yearly, and that's not including people that have already renewed their HC stuff), and there were 500 tickets(Max per order was two, and no one was likely to only order one ticket), that means that 1.25% of people that were in line received tickets. That's with me assuming that the number of people in the line was half the likely amount(We sell around 40k season tickets per year, and there are at least that many HC members as is)

I am so glad I requested the tickets through the Hurricane club in December. I committed because I had faith in this team making it to the title game.
It was also risk free. If Miami didn't make the CFP Championship, you weren't getting charged. That's why I did it, I knew that if Miami made the title game, I'd be guaranteed tickets.

From my understanding, there were about 475 tickets in sale. These were tickets left after those that purchased the full playoff slate got theirs. There were thousands in the queue. The chance to get tickets were low no matter how they did it.

Exactly. That's what I'm thinking as well. It was a 1% chance at best you'd get a ticket. Honestly, I would have been fine with them selling these tickets to the students first, and then making any remaining available to the general public. Might as well.

man I had two tickets in section 306 in my cart ready to go but it couldn't process credit cards at that time. I tried 4 diff cards all gave the same error. I had to watch that count down go from 10 mins to zero and when it hit zero it came back and said it was sold out. I went from being absolutely stoked to crying.

THEY FORGET BACK IN THE DAY….POTENTIAL CORPORATE SPONSOR NEEDED TO SEE PEOPLE IN SEATS BEFORE THEY WOULD WRITE THOSE FAT CK$ TO THE U….THAT WAS BECAUSE OUR BELOVED PROGRAM WAS IN THE TANK, SO THE TICKET OFFICE STARTED HANDING OUT A FREE GAME TICKET IF YOU BOUGHT A F’n WHOPPER @BURGER KING…LITERALLY BEGGING PEOPLE TO GO TO THE GAMES…

2026, FLIP IT 180*…THEY DON’T NEED TO SHOW LOYALTY TO THE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS TO SELL TICKETS FOR THE “BIG GAME”….SO DESPITE FAN LOYALTY, WE GET BUMPED TO THE BACK OF THE LINE…BUT SADLY THE NUTT CUT WILL COME FULL CIRCLE WHEN / IF SEASON TICKET HOLDERS DON’T RENEW AND HURRICANE CLUB DONATION$ FINDS ITSELF IN THE TANK AGAIN…IT’S SIMPLY SUPPLY AND DEMAND…

There were going to be thousands of people mad regardless. Lots of things could be true on how it was handled.

But fans need to realize this isn't a home game. It's neutral.

My little green guy just went half way. I never had a shot!!. Alumni, and 16 years being season ticket holder that donates $$$ to the school every year. I haven’t seen one person yet on social media say they actually had luck today getting a ticket. Scam! SMH
