It’s not so much that they went full leftie, it’s more like they lost their edge. They lost what made them unique, and they lost their humor as well. When you become strident, no matter your affiliation, you become boring. It’s sports after all. But at least thank God for this article anyway.

Frankly, they lost all the writers worth a **** once they got bought out after the Hogan thing, and you saw the drop in quality. A lot of writers started doing snark for the sake of it, but they didn't know the first thing about presenting compelling stories. People forget that snark can't cover for mediocre stories. They became a content farm, politics had little to do with it.
