We have been dead quiet on the Recruting front since the season started. which concerns me. you see a ton of schools getting OV's and stuff and we hear nothing.

Do we have any OV's LIne up i know the FSU game has a lot. Ben Edwards, Shaver Manuel and others. who else is going to OV us.

and why does it seem like every year doing the season we lose recruits rather then gain?

You answered your own question. We lose recruits during the season because it's during the season. We haven't been good for a while now. The coaches talk a good game before the season starts, but when it does start, they're as dumbfounded as the rest of us, which doesn't help recruiting at all. So, yeah...
 
You got the first part of your title right: DEAD!! Thats what this UM Football program (Formerly known as the U) is, DEAD!

Shaq will be on campus in the morning and at the game tomorrow evening
 
Um.... theres at least 3 players going to the game tomorrow and theres been interviews with players talking about their interest with UM just nobody wants to or maybe even cares to bring them up
 
2015 4 srtar linebacker Roquan Smith, his teammate a 2016 dt named Malik Walker and Shaq. That took me 5 minutes to find out so it's not "dead quiet"

So we have 2 players thats going to OV that we know of and Shaq visiting. im sure everyone is saving it for the FSU game.

If you were a recruit would you want to go to Famu or Ark. St games? Naw

I imagine that Al and Co. talk a good game to the recruits. I've also thought there's a decent chance that they built up some excitement (new uniforms, good talent, etc.) into a sort of "wait 'til you see what's in store" kind of deal...a 'trending up' mantra, if you will. But so far it's not holding up. If that's the case, I hope it doesn't put anyone off into looking elsewhere.

Only time will tell. I'm sure some kids will stick either way, and there's always the chance we end up having a pretty good season.

But just a thought I've had.
 
hmmm.....and you would want FSU with rumors of Banners and the prospects of being beaten to a bloody pulp? sheesh

Im right there with you but shavar was told by Al to go to the fsu game so he and the staff might be telling recruits to come to that game, why? Im not sure but that seems to be what they want.

Because it will be by far the best game day atmosphere. Its not that crazy to think about.

Consider this, the best atmosphere and by that game if he continues to develop Kaaya will be quite possibly the best statistical qb in the conference. Now if he performs well then thats a recruiting tool because we'll have possibly a top 5 qb for nezxt season and that will attract anybody because the qb is the start. Now obviously the defense is still an issue and by Shavars Signing Day that will be figured out because no way that coordinator will be here in a year and a half. All we need to do is wait for that game though and concentrate on Duke
