I don’t get the “ starting “nonsense . It’s not about starting, it’s about snaps. There’ll be plenty of snaps for the guys mentioned. Last season we depended way too much on our starting de’s and there was plenty of time both their tongues were dragging in fourth quarters. Which finally caught up to 3 by years end with his health. Most years you can’t walk that razors edge. You can always use a big strong , grown man in the trenches. I’d feel alot better about edge with Pyburn. So would Mario which is why he’s reached out.

Amen to that, these players are legally in the portal and if we can get Pyburn, I’m all for it. Dude can definitely set the edge here! I don’t know when the NFL makes it last Cuts, but if he doesn’t make the team, let’s get his *** here?

Word on the street is Mario already reached out to Pyburn. So we’ll see how it all plays out, obviously we have to see if he makes the Buccaneers team or not.

Okay but what constitutes a "pro player?" A guy who signed any kind of contract with a pro team? A guy who only signed a contract with guarenteed money? A guy who's participated in any kind of pro game including NBA Summer League or NFL preseason? They're gonna have to be a lot more specific. I'm guessing they will say it applies to anyone who signed any kind of pro contract.

anyone who's in a NFL camp mini or full on training.
 
Let other teams worry about it, this roster is already good enough to compete for a national title. I don’t want that asterisk next to Miami come playoff time “well they have an NFL player on the roster”.

Don't think it would be possible to paint bigger target on back. If Lane somehow wins double digit games they may build him a statue. This is a masterpiece on generating hate.

those players wont be eligible at the end of the day and they'll have to move on with their lives as they should. they played for four years and sucked mostly and couldn't make it in the league. time to bag groceries.

hes been a cringe ******* and he hasn't changed. the issue for him is the years he had at OM gets him a contract for life there. those same seasons gets him fired in 3-4 years at LSU bc no title or title appearances is all that matters
