DB targets updates

Honestly, I'm not particularly impressed with any of these guys. Edwards is probably my favorite, but it's a lukewarm favorite.

I think Deejay Dallas is the best db in the class no matter who we get

I agree!
I think Bandy is

I also think Bandy is. I was not including our current commits. I put Bandy over Dallas just because I have not seen Dallas actually play CB on tape, he looks athletic, but I'm not going to say he is a better DB than Bandy when I have not seen him play it.

Bandy is the best CB in south Florida . They just don't give him as much love because of his heights. Watched his film hate to compare him to a nole but he reminds me of joiner

With as many open spots as UM has it's insane not to take Brini if he wants to be cane. ***** Edwards if he needs more attention. Please tell me the last skill position attention hoarder that every amounted to crap? Bruce (size of K Williams and Parrish but not the speed or talent) or Howard...GTFOH if you think he's anything playing in 0-11 CLE with his 4.7 40. I can think of many more if you wanna go old school. The kids in South FL that know they love UM step up commit or get your *** beat by us later...simple really.

Go ahead and take brini now. You can't teach his size/ speed at the postion. He's better off of raw ability than many of the dbs that will be on the roster next year

Brini is slow and dont have the hips for corner.

Didn't people say the same **** about Tavarrus McFadden?

Honest question, but I know people were questioning him and now look

Mcfadden is more athletic than brini but he doesnt have great long speed either. People was questioning his toughness too because he was a horrible tackler and didnt want to tackle.

He has a lot of picks this year but still isnt a good tackler and has had struggles in coverage too.

and yet he would be the best cb on the team right now even over Elder. Elder's lack of size prevents him from making a lot of plays as far as getting INTs but he is still a beast though. more physical than McFadden but still McFadden gets the offense an extra possession **** near every game which is more valuable than being good in run support.

McFadden better than Elder..........:Qft9gEw::canes3::jordan:

Whats the scoop on Naytron Culpepper? I saw where Mike Rumph just started following him on twitter and his new highlights are pretty legit.

Muschamp is wanting this kid bad and is getting courted by others that are known for producing corner backs.

I'd rank the remaining DB targets for Miami like this:
1. Brian Edwards
2. Marco Wilson
3. Antwan Collier
4. CJ Henderson
5. Latavious Brini

I don't know if he's a safety or corner but he's the type of late riser in South Florida I like.

Never liked brini from the start, found it odd that he never went to camps, this local DB class is really weak IMO, the two best are samuels and bandy, next year though is the deepest i have seen in awhile

I think we end up with Brini in this class . Stupid not to get him if he doesn't make it at CB move him to safety . We need safeties who can actually cover too

See i have a issue with that, i want playmakers on the roster not filler players, give me legit safeties

McFadden > Elder, child please!

You are just talking nonsensical at this point.

What's your rationale? From what I've read on the board, I get the sense that it's something more like what I have (See above). Any rationale for your ranking i.e. depth, skill set, immediate needs, etc.?

Is UM looking at any pure cb who are uncommitted and not too raw, that you can mention?

Doesn't work like that. Look at the NFL. Richard Sherman was a lightly recruited kid out of Compton who wound up at Stanford and got drafted in the 5th round. Josh Norman didn't even play division one football. Point is, you really have to develop kids at this position.
