But he literally PROVED he was great at Nickel, then they were out on him when he moved outside.
It's kinda different from a guy that has always been at nickel and in 3 years OF PLAYING never had a great season.... Idk man.
What I do know though is if the nickel this year plays as much as scott did, it BETTER be right. If the plan is to get the younger DBs rotation at nickel ok...
I personally like the idea of getting Koi Perich and then ALL 3 of our main safeties next year can be very diverse - caue Poyser and Fitzgerald can and have played nickel, Perich started to play more nickel this year too. That seems like it could be great, then you add a veteran nickel like Jaquez White, MJ Cannon, or Ian Foster that I just pointed out...

Yeah I wouldn't say I'd hate it - but that's SOLELY because Will harris coached him, so I'd have some trust there. If Harris hadn't coached him, I would absolutely hate the take though...
I much prefer Perich and then getting a G5 nickel moving up like White, Cannon, or Foster, or Mister Clark... etc

Love Mali but Downs made him fumble twice. Luckily they bounced right back to him both time.
