DAY 7 PRACTICE THREAD

Anyone else think our DB crew is going to be a **** problem for ACC quarterbacks this year? I really do. I'm excited to watch them. We got Artie and Antonio Crawford fighting for 3-4 on the depth chart and we have 4 safeties that can all play at a high level. Ready.

They're the only reason I'm pumped for the season them and duke cant wait to finally see carter lay someone out

Duke Johnson said today that reading coverages is easy for Heaps as it comes naturally to him while Kaaya has had some difficulties with it.

Yeah but who has thrown the most interceptions and bad passes out of the two...... Heaps.... I'm not sold on heaps he throws behind or high too much.

David Njoku... I have been super excited about this kid since day 1.. maybe not this year but next year he will be that receiver in Madden that you keep throwing too and no CB can even come close to his hands.

The kid can jump and he is tall!

Seeing a little pattern at camp over the past couple of days: lots of throws to Duke out of the backfield. More than usual, it seems.

Hmm, get your best player the ball in space, interesting concept

He had four receptions all last season right? Coley better start taking advantage of Duke.

Or maybe we finally have QBs on roster that make proper reads and then check down if the primary receiver(s) are not open.

Nonsense as a freshmen he had over 20 receptions with Morris as his QB. You go from 20+ to only four all season that he played that's on the OC.

Olsen was not that level of prospect. He was a good prospect, but not even close to can't miss.

Had great potential as a junior. Nice tape lots to like. Then he lost his senior season and it's been pretty much a career spinning in circles to this point. Good thing we don't have to wait and hope, we have guys that will just beat him

Olsen needs to transfer before the end of camp. It allows him to get acclimated in a new environment faster and allows us to get closer to 78 ships.

Ive always been skeptical on Olsens game. He didnt impress me at the UA game before he got here and ive always found something about his motion to just be funky, cant put my finger on why. Since Kaaya committed ive been hoping he would step up so Olsen didnt see the field.
