The score didn't accurately reflect the game. That's the best part.Red Zone play calling was arrogant
There was no reason for that call other than embarrassing them. It should have worked, and I know everyone would have loved to see Restrepo throw for a TD, but we didn't need to use it right then. We ended up ******** ourselves out of a score that possession and probably wont be able to use that play again.Restrepo throwing passes was so disrespectful lol. A true “we’ve embarrassed y’all enough, we can get you fired tonight if we want to”
FIFYDawson & Ward have done an excellent job helping ease Cristobal's transition to modern society after decades spent living in a cave and eating raw meat.

Also, on the other side, I felt Guidry made some halftime adjustments on the rush. We were getting to the QB a lot more in the 2nd half, though that might be because they had to throw and we could pin our ears back. Those RPOs to the TE are just lethal but calling mesh in the redzone with McCormick leaking out late is just diabolical.
Looked like Dawson took a quarter to figure out whats happening and called plays accordingly. Loads of deep crossers vs two-high shells.
By the time Dawson is the OC, the book on TVD is out that he can’t read zone defenses. Only stupid coaches like the former crew at TAMU thought they should play man against UM. The ACC opponents knew to just keep playing zone and eventually TVD would throw a pick, like GTech did to us last year.@Brooklyndee called it… a coach knows what he can and can’t do with certain QBs. With Cam, Dawson can take the gloves off.
As mentioned in another post, you have to look at Lashlee a little different knowing what he was able to make TVD look like vs what he really is.
We also have sort of an odd Mandela effect of TVD under LashleeBy the time Dawson is the OC, the book on TVD is out that he can’t read zone defenses. Lashlee had the advantage of an unknown TVD. But it was all just a matter of time and enough game film.
Easily could have put up50 plus wirh a few more plays executedThe score didn't accurately reflect the game. That's the best part.
We totally can use that play again. And they have to worry about planning for it. That whole theory of you can only use a play once contradicts Everything about using successfull playsThere was no reason for that call other than embarrassing them. Sure, we can use the play again, but it's not a successful play. It wasn't successful yesterday and it's most likely not successful in the future. You have a WR acting as QB throwing the ball downfield. Not a high percentage play unless the WR is wide open. Maybe we can try it again and just have Restrepo run with it. Looked like he could have got 10 yards just by running. We totally can use that play again. And they have to worry about planning for it. Good point on Lashlee. But once teams figured out DVD could not read a zone defense that’s when it was over for him.@Brooklyndee called it… a coach knows what he can and can’t do with certain QBs. With Cam, Dawson can take the gloves off.

I worked with this guy from Louisiana back in May and June. He is massive life time college football fan coming from a football family where his father was a football coach. We where up in mountains Montana of all places. So we would talk LSU and UM football all day long. Who had the better team like 2001 UM VS 2020 LSU team with all the first round picks and all pro players. All the great local talent both teams had, which state had most first round picks and who stole the better guy Ed Reed vs Patrick Peterson or Reggie Wayne vs Dwayne Bowe. Really great guy and he said that we got a really great coach in Dawson and we will see this year. He knew the whole history on him and wish LSU had him. Great things to say about Guidry as well.I've told yall from day 1, Dawson has had successful Offenses everywhere he's been, except for the one season at Kentucky when he was with a Super Bro who hates the forward pass.
That's why it was comical to me to see so many people getting on his back for last season when it was clearly the QB. Idk wth happened to TVD, but you can't tell me an OC who called the TAMU game "sucks" & suddenly just decided to pack it up for the rest of the season.
Dawson's Creek is a good Coach & has been for most of his career. He's a Hal Mumme disciple, those guys take pride in constructing good high-powered lethal Offenses that can score at will. It's literally in their DNA.
The man turned Clayton Tune into a 4,000yd passer, what else is there even to debate over? Lol
yeah, i was a little worried early on when it felt like cam was having to hold the ball forever because there wasn't much open downfield, but something clicked midway through the first half and it was lights out from then on.Those RPOs to the TE are just lethal but calling mesh in the redzone with McCormick leaking out late is just diabolical.
