I think this man deserves a moment. People were ready to throw him to the wolves last year but I think its pretty glaring that he didn't have the tools to run the offense he wanted to run and watered it down to the most basic rendition. He was handcuffed.

He had the Gators all turned around and confused as he racked up yards and points. Our offense looks so much different in Y2 of Dawson. Last year, he was completely handcuffed with what he had to work with. Major kudos to Mario for realizing that and not moving on from him.

I've told yall from day 1, Dawson has had successful Offenses everywhere he's been, except for the one season at Kentucky when he was with a Super Bro who hates the forward pass.

That's why it was comical to me to see so many people getting on his back for last season when it was clearly the QB. Idk wth happened to TVD, but you can't tell me an OC who called the TAMU game "sucks" & suddenly just decided to pack it up for the rest of the season.

Dawson's Creek is a good Coach & has been for most of his career. He's a Hal Mumme disciple, those guys take pride in constructing good high-powered lethal Offenses that can score at will. It's literally in their DNA.

The man turned Clayton Tune into a 4,000yd passer, what else is there even to debate over? Lol

It's just game 1. He also had TAMU all turned around with TVD

Crazy thing is Ward said in the post-game presser that we didn't even get into our bag. "Routine plays were working"
Football is just that easy sometimes. There was throws where it was 3 on 2 in pre snap. Me and the gator I was with was calling it out to each other during the game.

@Brooklyndee called it… a coach knows what he can and can’t do with certain QBs. With Cam, Dawson can take the gloves off.

As mentioned in another post, you have to look at Lashlee a little different knowing what he was able to make TVD look like vs what he really is.

No lie It wouldn't shock me if they were the same plays just executed correctly

I would say he turned up the dial to about a 5 or 6 for a brief amount of time and then shut it down

There was that sequence where he kinda let Florida know hey btw I’ve got a lot more here in my holster if you want to challenge us

There’s just so many weapons

Dawson has done an excellent job helping ease Cristobal's transition to modern society after decades spent living in a cave and eating raw meat.

Those RPOs to the TE are just lethal but calling mesh in the redzone with McCormick leaking out late is just diabolical.

Looked like Dawson took a quarter to figure out whats happening and called plays accordingly. Loads of deep crossers vs two-high shells.

For the most part I saw a lot of bunch formation of the worst and screen plays for tes and wr. ,

As a fan, I started to let the dark thoughts creep in throughout the week…and then I watched the Wisconsin game and felt better - about Dawson and our chances. TVD made his job impossible last year.

Restrepo throwing passes was so disrespectful lol. A true “we’ve embarrassed y’all enough, we can get you fired tonight if we want to”

But, but, but Holgersen took away Dawson's play-calling duties.

Red Zone play calling was arrogant
