Dawson Rumor

It wouldn't surprise me if the HC at Memphis and/or Tulane move on after this season. Dawson would be realistic candidate for both.

This has been the case with Cam Ward and Carlson Beck at quarterback

Dawson’s HS QB evaluation and recruiting has yet to produce a competent quarterback.

In last year‘s bowl game,Dawson looked great when we had Cam Ward at quarterback then to proceed to looked like a total disaster when Emory Williams came in the second half.

He’s not the type but I mean things happen my guy. This Miami situation for him is perfect though. And he’s not really an old guy. Believe coach is 47 or 48. He can and is willing to wait. Living in Miami isn’t bad lol

I guess the big question is if he returns next year. some “insiders” on this board swore he wasn’t going to return this year.
 
All P4 gigs aren’t good gigs. Dawson can wait for a better jobwhile getting paid high end coordinator money. When you can get 2-3 million per year, why settle for a school where it’s likely you will fail? VT has absolutely no money for NIL and staff. There’s a reason why Babcock is begging VT to increase student fees and the like.

I thought that was a main argument for Lane > Mario because we could save money on an OC?
