Everytime running out of the pistol worked, he stopped using it and went back to getting stuffed in the A gap. He's a ******* idiot and I'd like him to be anywhere else immediately.
He openly admits his downfall…he is impatient and goes away from the run too quick…Dawson is above average. His inability to adjust on the fly is his downfall.
You don't make it to the NC with a fireable OC. You also don't win with one who can't adjust early.
He basically pulled an A&M in the first half absolutely abandoning the runHe openly admits his downfall…he is impatient and goes away from the run too quick…
The last play was not necessary with 53 seconds to go. Play for 1st downs or OOB to stop the clock and move it like we had to get there.
TENDENCIES..... Have to change it up.....
No wonder they seemed to "know" what was coming.
He is not hitting on a Grand National with the Turbo. The 3800 straight 6.Dawson is above average. His inability to adjust on the fly is his downfall.

I’ll NEVER bash Carson beck. But there is something that has existed here since NOTRE DAME. Dawson told yall how he felt all season.I don’t think it was his tendencies as much as he had to do what he could with what he had. He had a QB whose arm strength wasn’t there and accuracy was shaky for a lot of the year. He had no go to tight end. None of our receivers could separate.
They had no other option but to run the offense within 20 yards. Maybe that’s why Marion wasn’t expecting that pass.
I watched more college football this year than I have any other year in my life. I saw teams doing things on offense that we couldn’t do. For the past two years we did not have the receiver. The only difference offensively between last year and this year was the fact that we had a QB that could make chicken salad out of chicken sht.
When was the last time a p4 team had the number one offense in the country with none of their receivers able to make the starting lineup on an nfl team? Arroyo is the only deception and he barely had any targets.
However, just like the other Cajun boy, he’s gonna have to go just on the optics alone.
Agree 100%, but the dude is not changing at his age.Dawson is just so weird, at times he looks like an elite play caller and then other times it’s just straight up terrible plays. I thought after the SMU game we figured things out but there were moments throughout the playoffs where he actively was hindering the team. I don’t think we need a change I’m just hoping he evolves more going forward.
the only real benefit to being in booth rather than sideline is if you expect him to be calling audibles in QBs ear presnap. Which we don’t do because we huddle up and break huddles lateI have a pet theory here... I don't like that Dawson is OC/QB coach and is on the sidelines during the game. Maybe he is slow to adjust because he's not seeing the game or maybe he is doing too many things when the defense is not on the field.
You don't need a QB coach if the plan is to portal in fully developed players to be the guy. But I think we are losing something in terms of development, another creative mind in the building, gameday management. I think a good QB coach could help.
Stop it. Believe the final score is determined by points from 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th quarters. Just like baseball accumulates runs via innings. Coaches make adjustments. Trash Dawson if you like. Fly a banner over the Hecht. Fire his dopey ***. But for all the ranting, on the biggest stage last night, his offense ultimately generated more points than the coach/team that many believe walk on water.Gaslighting the Cignetti angle is weak. OP did not mention Cignetti. How you can defend not only 0 points in first half but such few plays( allowing IU to dominate TOP) is weird. Dawson IS a dope. He DID hold us back. Worst thing he does all year and again last night is wait to establish our identity, ie, Fletch to right side for 11 yards a pop.
Facts aren’t bashing. Beck is a true cane. But he just can’t make certain throws and last night was one of them.I’ll NEVER bash Carson beck. But there is something that has existed here since NOTRE DAME. Dawson told yall how he felt all season.
College football is the most emotional sport there is man...why do you think Miami has been so great historically and this past season? A lot of it is the channeling of emotion in a positive direction.I think 90% of this board is wayyyyyyyyy too emotional to follow football.
People here are already mad at Hetherman for the defense he called in the first half when he was down a starting corner. We gave up just 10 points in that half to a team that scores a ton of points, and only would have given up 3 but for a couple of 3rd down penalties. Special place here.I mean he probably should go. But then yall are gonna kill Heatherman next year for his performance anyway. So what’s the real sense of it?
They’ll probably Ef that up too…Dawson will call a cute let down![]()
I imagine if there are any small children in attendance and they barely touch Bauman unfortunately that will jar the coffin lose from his pathetically weak hands...Dark humor joke. It's how I deal with ****.
I want Bauman, Davis, and Dawson to be my pallbearers at my funeral so they can let me down one last time. Bauman will probably drop me though.
Yes and he can get his a** in the box where he can see things/ field better...I have a pet theory here... I don't like that Dawson is OC/QB coach and is on the sidelines during the game. Maybe he is slow to adjust because he's not seeing the game or maybe he is doing too many things when the defense is not on the field.

Dawson will design a blatantly obvious plan to run me into the ground. I'll gain zero yards and end up in a cloud of dust and disappointment. He'll call someone an idiot for questioning him, and continue to relentlessly underwhelm for about half of my funeral before realizing the same thing over and over again isn't working.I imagine if there are any small children in attendance and they barely touch Bauman unfortunately that will jar the coffin lose from his pathetically weak hands...
Your dead lifeless body spills to the ground similar to most of the balls thrown his way this year....
Sorry. Am in a fairly **** mood today.
