Dawson’s Game Plan w/o Mali

Realistically there is not much you can do on a short week. Mali has been carrying this wr room and offense all year

Just assuming we score 30 isn’t the reality, we need to drag this game into the mud. Defense needs to play their best game, force turnovers and we need to dominate the field position battle. Has to be a similar game to osu or a&m last year

Basically they have had 3 days of planning and practice to prepare for Toney before news broke. They’re not all of sudden going to scrap everything and start over at this stage.
 
They’ve been planning how to stop Mali since the summer. On short notice they’ll be changing their game plan and/or get laxed mentally to some degree.

I hope that is something we can take advantage of.

Dawson has been doing this for a while and probably faced similar situations. I’m pretty confident he’ll come up with a game plan to attack Notre Lamé’s defense. Will certainly be interesting to see what he comes up with.

I trust that we’re going to see Dawson pull out all the stops Saturday.

Dawson should spread their defense out with 5 receiver sets to start off the game and go full on Mike Leach style and air raid their asses!

Once we spread them out like the whores that they are and soften them up real good, we can unleash Fletch , Mallory and Lyle on their asses by pounding the rock right down their throats!

I’d be down for that!
 
The Heisman is there for DM to win.* Play clean and use all the players at his disposal and he can lead this offense to a big day. The question is can our defense get enough stops. Don’t forget Navy with their undersized lines and slow RBs took it to ND for the first half until depth took over. We have size, speed, and depth. ND has significant defensive injuries.

The truth is that Freeman has fabricated/exaggerated injuries to mislead opponents several times before. So, he is afraid we are doing it to him…..
