We’re not jumping anyone. Maybe we move up to six, but only because we survived Thunderdome. Clemson definitely moves up. They’re getting their act together.

Canes need to heal up and take care of business out in Berzerkley to stay in contention.

I'm sure it'll be a separate thread this week, but this is no easy W.

Cal is methodical on offense and extremely solid on defense. Better coached team than VA Tech for sure.

Plus ... kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 PM EST.

No way the football gods let us get away with sleep walking two straight games
 
That was an unbelievable entertaining game with great individual and team efforts. After watching a ton of football we are NOT a top 20 team. Mario still has a ton of work to do to say the least. The elite teams tackle, the DB's are aggressive, and the OL mauls opponents. We have none of that. Nothing against Cam but Ido believe that Milroe has the inside track on the Heisman.
 
We need to find a way to legit make our run game a threat. I believe individually many of our pieces on offense match up well. But Bama’s oline has some variety in their run block assignments. Saw entire side pull on outside runs and they had enough spacing that Milroe could snake around on another run. Great double team blocks and then move onto 2nd level.

Those are the things we need from our oline. Seems every run assignment is straight man on man with little spacing or thoughts of 2nd levels.

That said, our defense is not close enough yet.

For us to win, we will need Cam to start out fast, stay hot and force another team to play from behind.

We dont play anybody so we dont get any benefits, especially after struggling and almost catching an L. UL losing doesnt help, atleast clemson is winning again but people will say they got destroyed by UGA and feasting on acc. So basically we have to run the table.

We don’t need to run the table, we need to win the ACC. I don’t think our record matters. I wouldn’t feel good about our playoff chances if we were 12-1 with our only loss being the ACCCG.

We can afford a regular season loss as long as we still make the ACCCG.
 
i think we might drop one, penn state and/or oregon might jump us

doesn't really matter though as long as we stay in top 10

Going to disagree. He had one on one on a true freshman with 43 seconds left. The slant was there with an easy pitch and catch if he crosses the slot. What was the hurry? Alabama's defense was on its heels.
