I said it over and over last year.

Beck wasn't a locker room cancer. He didn't fit into their culture because UGA's culture sucks. His faith is extremely important to him, and when half the team is getting arrested and out doing **** that isn't his style, of course he is going to keep his distance.

Hardly surprising Mike Bobo from Thomasville, GA would be partial to Gunnar Stockton, a country boy like himself he’s known since Stockton was a child and in whom Bobo and Kirby Smart (and of course the UGA fan base) saw the same “gritty gamer” qualities that endeared them to Stetson Bennett, another in-state small-town kid who led the Dawgs to back-to-back NC’s.

Zero doubt the outsider from Jax — who’d endured his share of ups and downs as QB1 — knew the dynamic and the politics of the situation as well.

Coming back to Florida and joining UM’s more suitable offense under Mario and Dawson was always going to be the better fit — serious elbow injury/rehab or not.

And now CB11 has earned the opportunity to play at home for all the marbles while his former team is done for the season.

And not because of QB issues that some Bulldog fans and media lackeys pinned on Beck, but rather because a less focused Smart allowed his program — on the field and **** sure off the field — to slip a few notches the past three years.

Turns out the problem in Athens wasn’t what them folks thought it was

I always wondered if Mark Richt - who himself saw the same fate as Carson Beck, due to the same Sonny and Kirby bull**** - ever had anything to do with nudging Carson towards Miami as well.

Anyone know if they were ever in contact?
 
I work with some UGA fans and they are obsessed with this man. They legit talk about him every day and it's been worse since the playoffs started. His relationship with one of the Cavinder twins did not help either. That infamous Kai Trump vlog didn't help again. Beck probably has some of the worst PR of all time.
