Exactly. Especially at this point in his career here and just before the natty. There is nothing this guy, regardless of how truthful he may be or how close to the situation he is at Georgia, can contribute to our understanding of what Beck will do in nine days. This is just....chaff.

Had Georgia not choked against Ole Miss, he would have posted this exact same fact or fiction leading up to our game, right???

UGA is in major damage control as the program (and conference) unravels.

Insightful explanation. Glad beck found his confidence again here, he was emotional after the ND win you can tell he needed a fresh start

Also its old news but, Georgia beats notre dame last year if beck didn’t get hurt. Probably lose in the natty but they were a better matchup for osu

Thats why it was odd to me they were so happy with stockton getting in lol, i don’t think they understood but hey country folk stick together lol

It's a bunch of horse **** because Sonny Smart coached at Gunner Stockton's high school and mentored the kid. OF COURSE Beck was going to get pushed out in favor of Gunner. And OF COURSE Beck wasn't going to be happy about it. This is the crap that Sonny and Kirby have (had) been pulling FOR YEARS.

But you know what Beck DID NOT DO? He didn't BLAB ANY OF THIS NEPOTISTIC BULL**** to the media like he could have. He just went on his way to Miami, continued to say nice things about UGA, his teammates, and coaches in every single one of his interviews, and simply say he is happy now at Miami.

This is 100 percent it.

Hardly surprising Mike Bobo from Thomasville, GA would be partial to Gunnar Stockton, a country boy like himself he’s known since Stockton was a child and in whom Bobo and Kirby Smart (and of course the UGA fan base) saw the same “gritty gamer” qualities that endeared them to Stetson Bennett, another in-state small-town kid who led the Dawgs to back-to-back NC’s.

Zero doubt the outsider from Jax — who’d endured his share of ups and downs as QB1 — knew the dynamic and the politics of the situation as well.

Coming back to Florida and joining UM’s more suitable offense under Mario and Dawson was always going to be the better fit — serious elbow injury/rehab or not.

And now CB11 has earned the opportunity to play at home for all the marbles while his former team is done for the season.

And not because of QB issues that some Bulldog fans and media lackeys pinned on Beck, but rather because a less focused Smart allowed his program — on the field and **** sure off the field — to slip a few notches the past three years.

Turns out the problem in Athens wasn’t what them folks thought it was

So just to be clear - everything is great and everyone parted on amicable terms?

I, for one, am shocked that this is the narrative they're pushing.
 
I live in Georgia and am related to a lot of fans. As soon as the Lamborghini story hit at the beginning of the year, they were ****ed. It went downhill from there. Girlfriend drama, the INT’s when he was pressing too hard, it was better for both that he left.

The only person I would believe in regards to this is Beck and he’s been 100% professional about the whole thing. I don’t know if he’s still in contact with Mike Bobo or anyone at UGA and frankly I don’t care. What I do know is that UGa fans loudly trashed him pretty much all season while hyping up their balding bumpkin who couldn’t be relied on to throw the ball more than 15 times a game because he’s not good.
 
Yeah. Weird damage control. I spent the holidays in Georgia.

Wore my canes cap everywhere. All I heard were comments about ‘thanks for taking Beck’ and other things.

Then they choked and now they have egg on their faces. Miss me with the entire BS spin.

Sorry your monopoly on cheating and paying players ended. Must be tough to play by the same rules. It means more in your minds only. Fake, hyped conference and teams.
