Old football minds ok whatever I love Jimmy as the best coach ever.Butch I'm sure he will leave a trail of trouble for any school he touches.

imo he was holding out for here, and he had it till Rick got fired, i think he loves living in SoFlo, i know if i had several mill thats where i would hang as well. I bet had Arkansaw called him during that time he would not have answered, for all we know they may have

that said i would be all in for a guy like Kendall Briles as long as i knew Rick wasnt breathing on him, but Rick aint gonna let that happen is he

No one seems to look at who graduated from FIU last year - no one seems to recall the building job Butch did at NC - and even after losing a ****load of his players due to the school administrations multi-year bull**** - still won his bowl game.

And we lost 31 scholarships at UM in two years - all determined to kick in his first year at UM?

Butch is the exact same age as Saban.

You really believe Saban is burned out? Has past his expiration date?

When he took the HC job at UM, I don't think anyone else would take it - and of course UM was Butch's first HC job - and yes, like one or two first-time coaches - like Dabo - he had a bit of learning to do -

But he had to learn while losing over 30 scholarships - then when his players came into play in 2000 - he lost one game. His team won the following year with Clappy - you schittin' me? And technically, won in 2002 as well.

Some of you must be too young to learn that most people really don't change. You'll learn eventually. Physical capabilities may decrease - but your heart - your essence - that doesn't really change at all.

Founded UNC football? Mack Brown had a better winning percentage there....

Yeah? In 2002 - UNC went 3-9,
2003 UNC went 2-10
2004 UNC went 6-6
2005 UNC went 5-6
2006 UNC went 3-9.

Now. You tell me all about how good a team UNC was before Butch Davis got there.
