Don't forget - we were getting Gruden - and his brother. Every possible name was put out there, and none of it was correct - as the University never announced one, single offer. Not one. But suddenly Golden was hired. Same thing with Richt - BOOM! He was hired.

Some of us wouldn't move to Lincoln, Nebraska at gunpoint. Or Atlanta. Or Oregon. Or Pennsylvania, Arizona, Kentucky, Mississippi, or West By-God. Gun to our head.

Especially if we're getting fat checks to sit at home.

That's one of the most ridiculous arguments against Butch I can imagine.

I been saying this forever, its a lame argument, nobody knows who offered who what, period. Your gunpoint thing is spot on as well, Butch had money, plenty, enough to call his shot, he has a house by Jimmy in the keys, loves it here, and dont want to be anywhere else. It was a huge mistake to hire Rick, i said it on here the day we did it, imo there was only one coach for this program after fat albert did his thing. Also i have said on here many times, had we hired Butch we would have gotten Jimmy;s input for free, they are very close, and neighbors. Man that would have been priceless, to have those 2 guys in our corner, ***ing priceless, and the young clowns here that cant see that are ***ing tards to the 10th, that would be 10th degree tards. I swear the average age of this board is 25, we should take a poll, i aint far off

You're right nobody knows so stop speculating on these imaginary jobs that "nobody" knows about. Butch isn't our coach and he just got split open by Lane Kiffin. Enough Butch talk on here take it to the FIU board.

Butchs home is in Bonita Springs near Ft Myers....
 
Butch is a good guy, good Coach and said that the best job he ever had was at our U..... I believe him.
The only problem, is that he has got tangled in all the baggage that he is hauling around, that no one would even consider him for the Canes.
Reality...........we need to deal with CMR fixing this leaking ship, and doing what needs to be done. The ship has sailed for Butch....period.

I've heard of that syndrome - it's got a long name - lots of latin subnames - my sympathies. Fractured thinking must be difficult - I mean - you could set out to get laid - and forget which one gets tied up and cornholed.

Nobody will ever put together a team like that again, what 36 players drafted, how many first rounders, thats almost hard to believe, my UT aTm friends have to look it up they dont believe it. I would have damm sure give him a shot at repeating that instead of hiring a guy who had just been fired for losing, and with a stacked roster at that

not saying Butch is better, and another thing is Miami will NEVER commit 100% to winning football games like these other schools, Bama, Texas, aTm, all will throw boatloads of cash at the football program, paying Jimbo 100 million, wtf, we will never compete with that. Thats why we should have hired his *** to start with instead of this clown, who else has the ability to stock talent like that and would work for half Rick's salary, nobody

Why isn’t Butch in a position to have 5-stars two deep if he is so good? Why is he stuck at Florida International Community College?
